I was lucky enough to be introduced to photography at an early age by my father, who had an old Nikon F that he saved up to buy in high school, and which he used as a local newspaper photographer. I finally saved up to get my own Nikon in high school and I haven't been without a camera since then. This website is an effort to share with the world some of the work I've done over the years. I hope you enjoy it.

Over the course of a decade, I've studied and worked in service of communities on the Tibetan plateau. Formerly a PhD student studying the history of Tibetan religious traditions at the University of Chicago, I most recently worked at the University of Virginia Tibet Center directing programs related to cultural preservation, digital technology, and education on the Tibetan plateau and in Bhutan. Photography factored heavily in our work, and I've served as a lead photographer and trainer on a number of cultural documentation projects across the Himalayas.

I'm currently based in Hong Kong and working as a freelance photographer, a member of creative directions, and as a photography instructor. If you're interested in hiring me to do some work, please get in touch at bradleyaaronphoto@gmail.com
